For four years I lived in the Palouse region of the Inland Northwest. This land has a unique beauty that shifts and transforms with every day. This series responds to time spent in western landscape, attending to the range of color throughout the hours of the day. Landscape and nature fuels my painting process, and these little works are about loosely capturing the essence of the land.
Materials: acrylic paint, marker, pencil on gessoboard, unframed.
Display options: set on nails as shown in picture, lean against a shelf, various framing options.
