Arizona is composed of striking landscape. The reds of Arizona infiltrate my memory and arrive in the studio. In beautiful Sedona I see much more than red- also green, purple, orange, gold, etc. This painting series responds to time spent in western landscape, attending to the range of color throughout the hours of the day. Landscape and nature fuel my painting process, and these little works are about loosely capturing the essence of the land.
